About the Role:TLC Learning Center in Norwalk, CA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Preschool Teacher to join our faith-based team! In this rewarding role, you'll help shape the hearts and minds of our youngest learners in a warm, Christ-centered environment. Responsibilities:- Plan and implement age-appropriate, faith-based curriculum for toddler-age children
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment rooted in Christian values
- Guide toddlers through daily routines including circle time, play, meals, and rest
- Monitor and support each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Communicate regularly and positively with parents and guardians regarding child progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support school-wide goals and events
- Potty training and diaper changing
Requirements:- Experience working with toddlers or preschool-age children in an educational setting
- Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units or degree required
- Active Christian faith and commitment to integrating biblical values into teaching
- Strong patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for early childhood development
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
