Los Tios - To Go Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a To Go Specialist, you are welcoming and responsible for providing great hospitality to our guests. In this position you will work closely with the kitchen and the front-of-house team to provide an efficient and positive takeout experience. You have a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Ensures orders are entered, prepared, packaged, and delivered correctly while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
- Professionally handle phone orders, build positive guest relationships and provide knowledgeable assistance with menu selections
- Keep the station clean, stocked, and compliant with established food safety and sanitation procedures.
WORK PREPARNESS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended period and frequently walk between the kitchen, to-go station and guest pickup areas.
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members in person and by phone and accurately receive, understand and relay order information
- Work safely in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Food Handler certified, or willing to obtain certification upon hire
