Title I Teacher

The Mukwonago Area School District, located approximately 25 miles southwest of Milwaukee, is currently seeking a part-time Title 1 teacher for Prairie View Elementary School. The position is 20 hours per week and would begin in September of 2026.

The teacher in this position will provide systematic interventions to improve academic achievement for students in both reading and math. The successful candidate will also collaborate with classroom teachers, literacy specialists, principals and other team members to provide high quality and systematic interventions and complete student progress monitoring. The ability to maintain records as required by the school, district, and/or state will be critical. The successful candidate will be able to monitor and communicate student progress with students, families, administrators and teachers.

Priority consideration will be given to dynamic, highly motivated candidates with demonstrated expertise in instructional strategies that are successful with struggling learners. Preference will also be given to candidates with experience using data to diagnose learning difficulties, intervene appropriately, monitor progress, and continually adjust instruction.

Job requirements include the completion of a program in elementary or secondary education and an endorsement through the Wisconsin DPI appropriate for the grade level of the assignment.

This is a limited term position for the 2026-27 school year only, but consideration for future Title I Teacher positions will be given to the right applicant. This position is not eligible for benefits. The point of contact for this position is Brandy Hart, Principal.
