We are looking for strong, energetic, people-focused team members who will help us redefine the car-buying experience.The Title Clerk handles the legal transfer of documents on the customer's behalf between the dealership and the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Examine contracts to assure conformity to specified requirementsProcess all new vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titledPrepare tax and title documentsSubmit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor VehiclesVerify that funds have been collected before processing title applicationsProcess paperwork in a timely mannerComply and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title workStays abreast of county and state title regulation requirementsUnderstand deadlines and is able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to tasksOther duties to be determined by managementAt least 2 years experience working in a busy office environment requiredPrevious automotive Title Clerk experience preferredAutomotive accounting or CDK experience a plusActive Notary Public certification is a plusStrong attention to detailEffective communication skills requiredTeam-oriented and comfortable in an open office setting is requiredMust be a minimum of eighteen years of ageMust be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
