Description

Bowser Chevrolet in Monroeville is seeking an experienced Title Clerk who will be responsible for processing deals in a timely and efficient manner. Preparing and filing legal documents with the State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is critical to ensuring successful sales transactions. The Title Clerk also provides assistance to the sales staff by verifying pay-offs and advising on tag and vehicle issues. Title Clerks are required to maintain a current notary license.Essential Responsibilities:Respond to customer issues and work to solve their problems as expediently as possible.Communicate with the F&I Managers regarding title issues.Prepare tag and title documents including auction titles.Submit all legal transfer documents to the DMS online.Correct all errors efficiently, professionally and confidentially as possible.Prepare and maintain trade-in vehicle jackets ensuring that names and addresses are updated on an on-going basis.Receive and process paperwork received from F&I as well as salespeople.Process all wholesale deals and monitor wholesale receivable.Verify pay off trade-ins.Reconcile select accounts and schedules monthly.Represent the dealership to its customers and vendors in a friendly, professional manner to assist in maintaining highest level CSI.Complete month-end reports as required and assist with annual audit.Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.Education and Qualifications:Knowledge and experience in accounting principles and proceduresStrong mathematical abilityKnowledge of Microsoft office, ADP and Dealer Track SoftwareAbility to work with minimal supervisionStrong ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Must possess and maintain a current notary license.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit for up to 8 hours/dayAbility to work with computers for up to 8 hours/dayAbility to lift at least 20 lbs.What Bowser Offers:Competitive payExcellent medical, dental, and vision401K with company matchCompany paid life insuranceSupplemental short term disability
