    Description

    This is a general application for the position of Title Agent. We will consider your application for current and future job openings and projects. If you have extensive experience, we may consider you for other positions as well.

    Lonestar Land Services team is growing, and we're looking for experienced Title Agents with a strong title and land rights focus to support projects across the USA. This position can be field-based and/or remote, project-driven role where your attention to detail and research capabilities directly support successful project completion.

    You'll manage the full acquisition process of title research, documentation, and closeout — while partnering closely with internal teams across legal, survey, environmental, and project management.

    • Conduct detailed title research, ownership verification, and parcel analysis using county records, GIS systems, and public data sources
    • Support valuation efforts, appraisals, and damage assessments
    • Participate in project meetings and assist with closeout activities






    Requirements

    Qualification Requirements (minimum and preferred requirements):
    • 1–5 years of experience in right of way, title, land acquisition, or real estate
    • Strong working knowledge of title research, land ownership, and property records across multiple jurisdictions
    • Experience navigating county records, courthouse research, and GIS platforms
    • Ability to work with a wide range of landowners and stakeholders with professionalism and clarity
    • Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve issues effectively
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
    • Comfortable with nationwide travel when required and working in both field and remote environments
    • IRWA coursework or certification is a plus
    • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
