Title 1 Reading Teacher

The Winter School District is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Title 1 Reading Teacher beginning August 18, 2026.

Athletic and Co-Curricular positions are available.

Requirements: Wisconsin certification 1316 (Reading Teacher) and/or 5017 (Reading Specialist) is required.

The Title 1 Reading Teacher must hold DPI teacher certification and will be expected to:

Ability to collaborate with professionals at all levels, K-12, special education, and ELL.

Ability to work with sensitivity in a multicultural setting.

Knowledgeable in the science of reading-based programs such as Keys or Orton-Gillingham Plus.

Ability to develop successful parent involvement meetings and activities.
