Classification: Full Time, Hourly Reports To: Building Principal Summary/Objective East Shore Leadership Academy must provide an excellent education to all our students consistent with the mission, vision, and goals of the school and with the core values of Summit Management Consulting. Your primary goal is to support our students in the area of mathematics. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Works with students, individually or in small groups, to teach/reinforce mathematics learning concepts. 2. Uses data to provide instruction to students and to bring their skills to grade-level. 3. Collaborates with teachers, administration, and families to help identify best practices for individual and small groups of students. 4. Uses identified research-based interventions that focus specifically on individual student needs. 5. Maintains data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress. 6. Provides input for program development. 7. Communicates with classroom teachers for areas of mathematics focus. 8. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success. General Expectations You are directly accountable to the Principal. As a member of the East Shore Leadership Academy team, you are also expected to communicate and coordinate with the school office personnel and collaborate with your fellow teachers. Schedule This role requires work between 7:30am and 3:30pm, Monday through Friday and additional hours as needed. This is a full-time, hourly position that requires 40 hours.
