Tissue Services Specialist

To continue operating at our high standard, we’re seeking a Laboratory Specialist who has a strong background in human anatomy and a willingness to learn about the cadaveric advantages to continued medical education and training. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator who has a strong ability to coordinate and collaborate across a range of departments. Ultimately, the specialist laboratory technician should be driven by a desire to exceed client expectations and company standards.


  • The Position: We’re looking for candidates to fill an entry level Laboratory Specialist role; this position will support the Supervisor of Tissue Services.
  • Job Type: Full Time On Site
Objectives of this role
  • Execute administrative functions for the tissue services team.
  • Work in collaboration with intake and recovery processing teams to accomplish company objectives outlined by management.
  • Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Innoved sourcing outreach.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Innoved clients regarding medical imaging needs.
  • Coordinate all imaging needs and appointments with vendors and internal departments.
  • Update and maintain Innoved database with accurate record keeping.
  • Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively.
  • Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions to a wide range of obstacles.
  • Occasionally assist in medical imaging, taking fluoroscopy shots, or bringing specimens to imaging facilities. 
  • Occasionally assist in the intake of cadaveric specimens. 
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong background in human anatomy.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
  • Overall friendly disposition with an enthusiasm to support the medical donation field.
