What you'll be doing:

Change or mount tires in accordance with the guidelines in the Savage Tire Manual, and handle general cleanup tasksMaintain systems, ensuring proper equipment, tire needs, requirements, and optimizing ongoing maintenancePerform maintenance tasks across locations, including the shop, yard, field, and roadside, during service callsEnsure the fleet complies with Savage and DOT regulations by scheduling maintenance cost-effectively, considering factors such as operational life, safety, and replacement needsKeep the work environment clean and safePerform additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Operations Manager

What you need:

Ability to become familiar with the Savage Tire Manual and follow proper proceduresBe familiar with record-keeping for tire maintenance and D.O.T. regulationsUnderstand the importance of scheduling equipment for serviceHave experience working on equipment in challenging environmentsRecognize personal limitations and know when to seek assistancePossess the ability and willingness to perform essential physical tasks required for the jobPreferably have one year of prior experience as a Tire TechnicianBe capable of working in adverse conditions, both indoors and outdoorsPhysically able to handle heavy equipment parts and piecesComfortable with climbing on and off equipmentPhysically able to perform daily work in this position
