Position Overview: Kolar Tire & Auto is seeking a skilled and dependable Tire Technician to join our team in Helena, Montana. As a Tire Tech, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, mounting, and balancing tires, as well as assisting customers with their tire needs. You will ensure high-quality service, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities: -Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for various vehicle types -Operate tire changing and balancing equipment safely and effectively -Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used -Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe at all times -Assist customers with tire-related questions and provide excellent service -Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA standards Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent -Previous experience as a Tire Technician preferred (but we will train the right candidate) -Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment -Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record -Excellent customer service and communication skills Physical Requirements: -Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs -Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods of time -Ability to work in varying weather conditions Compensation & Benefits: -Wage: $16-22/hour DOE -Paid time off and holidays -Health insurance and benefit options available -Opportunities for advancement within the company |
