Tire Mounting Associate

Location: Statesville, NC
Pay: $17.50/hour while working 2nd shift/ Once switched to 1st, $16/hr
Temporary Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30pm - 1:00 am (for about 2-3 weeks)
Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am-5:00 pm , with additional hours as needed

We are looking for dependable associates to assist in the Tire Mounting Department. Candidates must be willing to begin on a temporary 2nd-shift schedule for approximately two weeks . Once the production line is repaired and operational, these positions will move back to the regular 1st-shift schedule.

The $17.50/hour rate includes a temporary $1.50 shift premium. Once the position returns to 1st shift, the pay rate will return to $16.00/hour.

Job Duties:

• Mount tires onto wheels using production equipment

• Load and unload tires and wheels from the production line

• Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit and quality

• Keep materials organized and supplied to the work area

• Follow production instructions and safety procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Assist with other department duties as needed

Requirements:

• Must be able to work the temporary 2nd-shift schedule and later transition to 1st shift

• Comfortable performing repetitive, physical production work

• Able to stand for the entire shift and lift tires and wheels regularly

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

• Previous manufacturing, tire mounting, automotive, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required

• Must be willing to work additional hours when needed
