Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Timekeeping Specialist for our client. This position is responsible for auditing employee timesheets, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and labor requirements, and providing professional support to employees and HR business partners.
- Audit timesheets for accurate hours, projects, and pay types
- Confirm required employee signatures and approvals before processing
- Review timekeeping records for compliance with company policies and applicable requirements
- Provide accurate, professional customer service to employees working in multiple states
- Guide HR business partners regarding state labor laws and payout timelines
- Open, manage, and close customer cases accurately and promptly
- Perform data entry and maintain complete timekeeping records
- Assist with testing new programs and processes
- Update desktop procedures as programs and requirements change
Required Skills and Experience
- At least three years of timekeeping or time collection experience
- Experience with AutoTime or a comparable timekeeping system
- General knowledge of state labor laws
- Experience with Microsoft Access
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and data-entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in an office environment
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
