Were hiring a Tig Welder in Salem, Ohio. Were looking for an experienced aluminum TIG welder who can read blueprints, hold tight tolerances, and take pride in clean, accurate work. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity.
Hours 1st Shift
8:00 AM 4:00 PM
40 hours per week
Pay Pay is based on experience.
Key Responsibilities TIG weld aluminum weldments and aluminum pipe
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Set up welding machines based on job requirements and welding procedures
Fit and assemble products to blueprint specifications
Use measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, angle gauges) to verify parts meet spec
Keep a clean, safe, organized work area
Help with material handling as needed (lifting raw material, packing finished product, moving finished goods to shipping)
Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years of welding experience
Strong aluminum TIG welding skills (this position focuses on aluminum TIG)
Ability to read and work from blueprints/drawings
Ability to accurately use calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges
Ability to set up equipment and fit parts to specification
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to follow instructions
Must complete a weld test
Must be able to pass required screening (drug screen and background check)
Preferred Education and Experience Welding certifications
