TIG Welder

Select torch, torch tips, filler rod and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of metal being welded. Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm Pay: $22-$24, Based on Experience RESPONSIBILITIES:Welds aluminum, steel and stainless-steel parts with TIG welding equipment.

Qualified Staffing is currently in search of a TIG Welder for a manufacturing company in Lithonia, GA! This is a full-time, DAY SHIFT, temp to perm position!   
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm  Pay: $22-$24, Based on Experience  RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welds aluminum, steel and stainless-steel parts with TIG welding equipment. 
• Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench of floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks. 
• Select torch, torch tips, filler rod and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of metal being welded. 
• Connects regulator valves and hoses to gas cylinders and welding torches. 
• Adjusts regulator valves and performs welding operations. 
• Examines welds for bead size and other specifications. 
• Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag or spatter. 
• Cleans and degreases parts as necessary. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• One year certificate from college or technical school 
• 1+ years related welding experience  
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, blueprints, and layouts
