Pay: $22–$29/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Kansas City, MO 
Penmac Staffing is hiring a TIG Welder (Class B) for a growing manufacturing company specializing in food processing equipment. This is a full-time, 4-day workweek opportunity for an experienced welder who takes pride in quality work and enjoys a team-oriented environment.Requirements for the TIG Welder
  • Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience, including stainless steel (GTAW)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
  • Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
  • Ability to polish and finish stainless steel
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear PPE

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience
  • #4 Polish Finish experience
  • Electrical experience
TIG Welder Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components for food production equipment
  • Grind, deburr, and polish parts to meet quality standards
  • Follow job orders and blueprints accurately
  • Inspect materials and completed work for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain tools and keep a clean, organized workspace
  • Assist with mechanical, plumbing, or light electrical assembly as needed
  • Work with team members to meet production schedules
Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis TIG Welder position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Employees must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds. Safety glasses and steel-toe boots are required at all times. This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented welder who wants to grow their skills and contribute to a high-quality finished product.
