    IDR is seeking a Tier 1 Network Engineer to join one of our top clients in Brentwood, TN. This role involves supporting network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points within a technology-focused environment.     Position Overview for the Tier 1 Network Engineer:

    • Assists in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
    • Monitors network performance and troubleshoots issues to ensure optimal connectivity and minimal downtime.
    • Performs routine network configuration and updates in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
    • Ensures all network hardware and software components are regularly updated and maintained.
    • Collaborates with Level II and III engineers and IT teams to support network projects and initiatives, maintaining detailed documentation.

    Requirements for the Tier 1 Network Engineer:

    • Experience with Cisco networking equipment.
    • Knowledge of switches and routers.
    • Familiarity with configuring VLANs and managing device setups.
    • Experience with security cameras, CCTV, or related surveillance systems.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
