Job Summary

• Support the transition to the Florida PALM financial system.
• Lead the effort to analyze and update existing TIBCO Mainframe Focus/WebFOCUS assets.
• Analyze legacy Focus programs and document their specifications.
• Support reports, interfaces, and applications developed using Focus over the past 20 years.
• Work with financial data and enterprise reporting systems.

Required Skills & Responsibilities

• Build dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Develop paginated reports in Power BI.
• Demonstrate strong SQL skills.
• Apply data governance best practices.
• Understand data management concepts, including:
  • Data Warehousing
  • Operational Data Stores (ODS)
  • Data Lakes
  • Master Data Management (MDM)
• Create reports presenting financial data, including:
  • General Ledger data
  • Purchasing data
  • Revenue data
• Understand advanced data structures, including:
  • OLAP Cubes
  • Star Schema
  • Snowflake Schema
• Understand Power BI integration with Microsoft tools:
  • Power Automate
  • Power Apps
  • PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Teams
• Apply analytical thinking to transform data into meaningful:
  • Reports
  • Dashboards
  • Graphics
  • Visualizations
• Design and implement reporting solutions using multiple data sources.
• Work with IBM DB2 databases.
• Understand Mainframe flat files.
• Apply knowledge of the SCRUM Framework.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Data Warehouse.
• Knowledge of:
  • Mainframe programming languages
  • Mainframe computer systems
  • Supporting mainframe software
