    Position Summary

    We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Thread Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Thread Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring thread-cutting, threading, and related production equipment to manufacture quality parts according to company specifications.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate thread machines and related manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
    • Set up machines according to work orders, specifications, and production requirements
    • Load and unload materials and parts
    • Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed
    • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges
    • Identify defects, machine issues, and quality concerns and report them to the appropriate supervisor
    • Maintain accurate production and inspection records
    • Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
    • Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting when necessary
    • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
    • Meet established production goals while maintaining product quality

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience operating thread machines, CNC equipment, lathes, or similar manufacturing machinery preferred
    • Mechanical or manufacturing experience is a plus
    • Experience with threading, tapping, machining, or metalworking equipment preferred
    • Ability to read and understand basic work instructions, blueprints, or production drawings
    • Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges
    • Familiarity with quality-control procedures
    • Good attendance and reliability
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move materials as required
