Thread Line Techincian

EHC is seeking a Threading Line Technician for a Client in the Houston Area.

Rotating Schedule 6:00am-6:00pm 6:00pm-6:00am

Pay Rate $15.00

As a Threading Line Technician, you will perform all requirements on the outside rack to efficiently process full-length pipe after threading operations are completed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks associated with processing full-length pipe after threading, including:
  • Deburring connections
  • Applying thread protectors and thread compounds
  • Rolling pipe
  • Stenciling pipe
  • Drifting pipe
  • Other related activities as required
• Attend required meetings.
• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Report to work on time and work the hours required by management.
• Follow all established safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Tools, Equipment, and Machines

• Utilize applicable inspection, measuring, and testing equipment as specified in relevant work instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school training is a plus.
• Must be able to read and write.

• No prior experience required.

• Must successfully complete applicable training requirements.

• Must demonstrate the ability to perform required job duties within 90 days of hire.

Training Requirements

• Safety training.
• Required reading for management system familiarization.
• Quality orientation and training.
• Formal training on company work instructions and applicable industry standards as outlined in the training matrix.
