    Description

    We are seeking a Thermal Performance Engineer to support the development, analysis, testing, and validation of vehicle thermal systems. The engineer will be responsible for evaluating thermal performance related to cabin comfort, powertrain cooling, battery thermal management, and overall vehicle climate efficiency to ensure compliance with performance targets and customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and evaluate vehicle thermal performance requirements and validation plans.
    • Analyze and optimize thermal systems including HVAC, cooling, heating, and airflow management.
    • Support thermal testing activities for vehicle cabin comfort, powertrain, and battery systems.
    • Conduct vehicle-level testing in climatic wind tunnels, environmental chambers, and road test environments.
    • Monitor and analyze thermal data to identify performance gaps and recommend improvements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HVAC, CAE, vehicle integration, validation, and calibration teams.
    • Support issue investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
    • Prepare engineering reports, test summaries, and technical documentation.
    • Ensure systems meet automotive standards, durability requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Participate in prototype development, vehicle launches, and production support activities.


    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field.
    • Experience in automotive thermal systems, HVAC, cooling systems, or thermal management.
    • Knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, airflow management, and vehicle thermal performance principles.
