Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Thermal Hydraulic Simulation Engineer for a nuclear technology company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in operator training simulator development looking to further their career in nuclear power.
Develop and maintain nuclear plant simulation models, including instrumentation and control systems, in an integrated software and hardware environment.
Define operator training simulator requirements and perform simulator integration, verification, validation, and testing.
Maintain simulator hardware, software, and configuration control tools (GitLab); write technical and test reports.
Oversee subcontractor deliverables and lead design reviews with internal teams and customers.
Essential Qualifications
15+ years of operator training simulator development experience, with proficiency in thermal-hydraulic simulation.
Strong knowledge of nuclear power plant operations; distributed control system familiarity; simulator software and hardware debugging.
BS in Mechanical, Nuclear, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
