Therapy Scheduler, New Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital (2909)

Responsible for developing and managing therapist schedules across all assigned units to ensure appropriate staffing coverage and support effective patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops, maintains, and adjusts therapist schedules based on staffing needs and department priorities.
• Coordinates coverage for call-outs, vacancies, schedule changes, and other staffing needs.
• Communicates schedules and changes accurately and timely to therapists and leadership.
• Maintains accurate scheduling records and protects confidential information.
• Demonstrates strong organization, attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
• Communicates professionally and respectfully with patients, families, therapists, leadership, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adheres to organizational policies, patient rights, safety standards, and attendance requirements.
• Completes required education and participates in performance improvement activities.
• Demonstrates the organization's values and promotes a positive image of the hospital.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Previous scheduling or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
