Required Certifications

• BLS
• CA SLP License
• Current DL and Auto Insurance

While home health experience is preferred, it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
• Assist with clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
