Description:
Make a difference in K-12 students' lives while living and working in Evanston, WY with a public school that serves students (approximately ages 8-21) with significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. BOCES 5 is a Trauma-Informed organization and practices DBT, Love & Logic, Collaborative & Proactive Solutions, and Handle With Care. The therapist also provides family therapy; crisis management services, including crisis intervention; behavior plans, and develops safety plans. Works as a member of a multidisciplinary team (teachers, residential staff, SLP, OT, relevant stakeholders). Ensures social-emotional needs of students are met by involving students, districts, DFS, and families in care planning and encouraging their participation in treatment. Completes mandatory documentation and evaluation reports and records within timelines established by applicable regulations. Position includes monthly on-call responsibilities, which are shared with other clinical team members.
Requirements:
Our state certification requires your completed BOCES 5 application before an interview. Please respond to the email you receive. Must have or have ability to obtain license or certification to provide clinical counseling services in Wyoming. Must be able to pass background checks, and TB screening. Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
