    Position Summary

    The LISW-S provides clinical assessment, diagnosis, counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and case management services for individuals, families, or groups. The role may also include supervising social work staff and interns to ensure compliance with state licensing standards and ethical practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    Conduct psychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations

    Develop individualized treatment plans

    Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy

    Diagnose mental health conditions using DSM-5 criteria

    Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes

    Coordinate care with healthcare providers, schools, courts, or community agencies

    Provide crisis intervention and safety planning

    Supervise LMSWs/LSWs seeking independent licensure

    Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and ethical standards

    Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations

    Required Qualifications

    Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

    Current LISW-S license in the applicable state

    Clinical experience in mental health, counseling, or behavioral health

    Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices

    Strong communication, documentation, and crisis-management skills
