    Position Summary:

    Intensive Outpatient Treatment Support Services (IOTSS) provides services to adults with significant mental health needs with recent hospitalization, contact with Psychiatric Emergency Screening, or at risk for hospitalization. Our program offers primarily group-based services several times per week as well as individual therapy sessions, psychoeducation, and medication management with our psychiatry services. Services are provided for 14 weeks of which appropriate aftercare services are arranged to continue therapeutic needs. Individuals must present with a primary mental health diagnosis. Individuals with a co-occurring substance use diagnosis in recovery are able to participate in services providing they are not in need of medical intervention for detoxification and must agree to service coordination with other substance treatment or medical treatment providers and agree to random testing for substances. Services are available to individual adults regardless of ability to pay.

    Transitions to Wellness (TTW) is a comprehensive intensive outpatient program for persons who need a higher level of care than traditional outpatient. This program serves individuals with a mental health diagnosis in group and individual formats. Intensive outpatient programs run for 9 hours per week in an in-person group setting. Additionally, individuals receive individual sessions along with the support of case management services.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide office-based therapeutic services to individuals using an evidence-based clinical approach  
    • Provide culturally competent care to client population  
    • Collaborate with system partners as needed, and continuously assess client needs and adjust services accordingly  
    • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including intake, diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to Acenda policy.  
    • Provide individual counseling as well as group counseling, weekly and biweekly.  
    • Provide services in a manner consistent with Acenda's ethics and regulations.  
    • Complete timely and accurate documentation including treatment plans, intakes, initial assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.  
    • Complete clinical documentation within same day of service.  

    Education, Work Experience and/or Skills Requirements:

    • Master's degree in a relevant mental health discipline  
    • A New Jersey LPC, LAC, LCSW, LSW, LaMFT or LMFT in good standing.   
    • Prior experience providing clinical care within a recovery-oriented program preferred  
    • Must have strong clinical skills and a willingness to learn and implement evidenced based protocols  
    • Motivation and strong social skills to build healthy relationships with our clients and partner  
    • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record  

    Additional Information:  

    • Starting Base Rate: $55K 
    • Sign-on Bonus: $1000 
    • Bilingual rate: An additional $1.50 added to the base rate if Spanish proficient

Primary focus areas have been Command and Control, Ballistic Missile Defense, Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Strike Warfare, Unmanned air, undersea and surface vehicles, Distributed Netted Systems, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Large Area/Global Concept of Operations, Maritime Domain Awareness, Global Maritime Awareness, Red Team, Health Services Support, Mine Warfare, Joint/Navy Command Organization and Relationships, and the technologies, systems and processes involved with the above.

    Current: Supporting contracts at Navy Warfare Development Command (Experimentation and Analysis) in Norfolk VA.
