    Full Time | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

    Novant Health Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring a full-time Therapist to join their team! The Therapist III is responsible for making treatment and level of care decisions independently. This position serves as the primary point of contact for patients enrolled in Collaborative Care, providing clinical assessment, care coordination, patient engagement, treatment planning, symptom monitoring, and communication among the primary care provider, psychiatric consultant, and other members of the healthcare team.

    The role requires advanced clinical expertise to manage patients with complex behavioral health conditions, develop therapeutic relationships, support treatment adherence, and ensure high-quality outcomes through population-based care management.

    What You'll Do

    • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and screenings.
    • Provide brief therapeutic interventions and counseling within the Collaborative Care framework.
    • Monitor patient progress utilizing standardized measurement tools and symptom tracking.
    • Coordinate care between primary care providers, psychiatric consultants, community resources, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Manage patients with moderate to high complexity behavioral health needs, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, substance use concerns, and other mental health conditions.
    • Ensure timely documentation, regulatory compliance, and quality metric reporting.
    • Provide crisis assessment and appropriate intervention when needed.

    What We're Looking For

    • Education: Graduate Degree, required. Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.

    • Experience: Minimum of three years experience, required.

    • Licensure/Certification:

    • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

    • Additional Skills (required): Good working knowledge of computers. Ability to care for Behavioral Health Age Specific populations.
