Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to provide trauma-informed therapy and support to children and families affected by abuse.
Responsibilities
Provide crisis intervention, individual, and group therapy.
Develop treatment goals and maintain confidential clinical records.
Coordinate appointments and provide follow-up support.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Complete required documentation, statistics, and grant reports.
Assist with quality assurance, training, outreach, and fundraising activities.
Report urgent case concerns to the Executive Director.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Alabama licensed or license-eligible (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
Knowledge of child abuse, trauma, and trauma-informed care.
Ability to engage children in a therapeutic setting.
Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Salary
License-eligible: $45,000–$48,000 annually
Licensed: $55,000–$58,000 annually Salary based on licensure and experience.
