Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to provide trauma-informed therapy and support to children and families affected by abuse.

Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention, individual, and group therapy.
  • Develop treatment goals and maintain confidential clinical records.
  • Coordinate appointments and provide follow-up support.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Complete required documentation, statistics, and grant reports.
  • Assist with quality assurance, training, outreach, and fundraising activities.
  • Report urgent case concerns to the Executive Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Alabama licensed or license-eligible (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
  • Knowledge of child abuse, trauma, and trauma-informed care.
  • Ability to engage children in a therapeutic setting.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule 

Salary
  • License-eligible: $45,000–$48,000 annually
  • Licensed: $55,000–$58,000 annually
    Salary based on licensure and experience.
