    Location: Montello Care Center – Montello, WI (on-site position)

    Schedule: Days | PMs | Weekends – Flexible scheduling

    Job Summary: 
    The PTA or OTA will provide patient/resident care as required under the direct supervision of the Therapy Director. The Therapist Assistant at Montello Care Center completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents, families and other health team members is an essential component of this position.

    • $25-$35, Based on experience

    Key Responsibilities: 
    • A graduate of an approved education course for occupational therapy assistants.
    • Licensed, if applicable, in the state in which they will be practicing.
    • Must not be excluded or sanctioned from state or federal program.
    • Demonstrate professional attitude and appearance.
    • Proficient administrative and communication within department and facility and company.
    • Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the practice of their discipline.
    • Display working knowledge of multidisciplinary practice scopes in the Outpatient, ALF, ILF or LTC setting.
    • Thorough knowledge of all payer source documentation and payment requirements.
    • Ability to use analytical skills to develop outcome driven solutions.
    • Prior EMR/computer experience

    Qualifications: 
    Required: 
    • Must be in good standing on the State registry or appropriate entity 
    • Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements 
    • Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    Preferred: 
    • Previous hospital or long-term care or skilled nursing experience 
    • CPR Certified
