Reporting to the Production Manager, the Fordham Theatre Program is seeking skilled theatre technicians to provide occasional support for theatrical productions, events, and production shops.

Essential Functions

Work may include scenic carpentry and construction, theatrical lighting and electrics, audio and sound, costumes, and other production-related technical work.

Depending on experience and production needs, technicians may assist with the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, and strike of theatrical scenery and equipment; hanging, cabling, focusing, and operating theatrical lighting; installation and operation of audio equipment; and costume construction, alterations, fittings, wardrobe, and related costume shop work.

Specific assignments, schedules, and responsibilities will vary based on production needs and the applicant's area of expertise.
