The Senior Product Designer
30 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001, United States (Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week)
6 months contract (eligible for extension)
Preferred location in the New York City area with the ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week in office).
The Senior Product Designer will lead end-to-end product design across key product areas, shaping the overall user experience from early concept through final delivery. This role partners closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define user-centered solutions, translate complex requirements into intuitive experiences, and influence product strategy through design thinking and systems-level approaches.
They will utilize a full range of product design, interaction design, and visual design skills while helping ensure a high-quality, cohesive user experience across platforms and markets.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
Must Have Skills / Requirements
1) Ability to influence product strategy and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners including product, engineering, and research.
a. 7+ years of experience; Experience building trust and managing complex environments.
2) AdTech & Media Knowledge
a. 7+ years of experience; Familiarity with advertising workflows including campaign management, planning, forecasting, yield optimization, trafficking, and reporting across linear and digital environments.
3) Data-Informed Design
a. 7+ years of experience; Ability to leverage usage metrics, qualitative research, and structured feedback loops to iterate and improve usability and adoption.
4) Design Systems & Modernization
a. 7+ years of experience; Experience contributing to or building design systems that support scalable, cloud-native modernization efforts.
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements
1) Strategic Design Leadership experience.
2) Motion Graphic Design experience.
Soft Skills:
1) Proven ability to lead design initiatives and deliver end-to-end product experiences from concept through launch.
2) Ability to influence product strategy and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners including product, engineering, and research.
3) Strong storytelling and presentation skills to communicate design rationale and influence stakeholders.
4) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity in complex product environments.
Technology Requirements:
1) Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, user-centered design processes, and high-quality interaction and visual design work.
2) Deep experience creating design artifacts including user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
3) Experience working with or contributing to design systems and scalable UI frameworks.
4) Experience designing cohesive cross-platform experiences including mobile and web.
Education / Certifications
1) Bachelor''s degree required.
