Description

The GAME School at Arizona State University seeks three full-time, 9-month (academic-year) faculty members at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. These are career-track positions and include undergraduate teaching, research, and service responsibilities located at the ASU California Center-Grand building in Los Angeles, CA and may include online and hybrid instruction. We are seeking candidates with expertise in Game Design, Game Development, and Game Studio Production. The salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000.

About The GAME School

The GAME School in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University is a leading transdisciplinary school for games, arts, media and engineering. The school offers a customizable curriculum that prepares students with tangible skills in new media, AI, games, wearable tech and more. Position Description and Essential Functions:

Successful candidates will teach classes in the new Game Studio Production degree in Los Angeles, CA, and may also teach in other GAME School or other Herberger Institute degrees. This position maintains an expected teaching load of at least three classes per semester, which may include in-person, online, and hybrid classes. Faculty can expect to also advise student projects, engage with departmental events, and support recruitment and retention initiatives. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, career-track position renewable on an academic year basis contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of resources, and the needs of the university. Candidates must reside in the Los Angeles area or be willing to relocate.
