Introduction

We are seeking an A Level Automotive Technician for a well-established independent repair shop in Liverpool, NY. This role pays $30-$40 per hour based on experience, plus production bonuses, with a Monday-Friday schedule. The shop offers seven service bays, works on all makes and models, and is looking for a strong diagnostic technician who can handle both advanced diagnostics and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns using appropriate diagnostic tools and testing procedures.
• Perform automotive repairs based on diagnostic findings.
• Troubleshoot drivability, electrical, and vehicle computer system concerns.
• Service and repair a variety of automotive systems across all makes and models.
• Perform engine diagnostics and repairs as needed.
• Complete brake, steering, suspension, cooling system, exhaust, fuel system, and other general automotive repairs.
• Support efficient workflow and quality workmanship with a focus on completing repairs correctly.

Qualifications

• A Level automotive diagnostic and repair capability.
• Strong automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform repairs in addition to diagnostic work.
• Experience diagnosing drivability, electrical, and vehicle computer system concerns.
• Broad mechanical knowledge across automotive systems and all makes and models.
• Ability to work effectively in a full-service independent repair environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• $30-$40 per hour, based on experience.
