TGCM Technician 6 (USA)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities:

• Perform minor inspections and preventive maintenance on gas and chemical-related equipment.
• Conduct daily rounds including recording readings, completing safety inspections, and monitoring online gas and chemical systems.
• Verify toxic gas monitoring operations and complete chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs.
• Make initial evaluations and obtain proper assistance when confronted with problem situations.
• Complete TGCM Tech Level 6 local OJT minimum requirements within 12 months in job grade.
• Participate in company programs including Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance.
• Comply with all applicable HS&E Standards including PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Confined Space Entry, etc.
• Perform minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures.
• Ensure the safety of all persons and the general public surrounding facilities.
• Manage hazardous waste including transfer, storage, documentation, and proper handling of spills and emergencies.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Good communication skills with the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment.
• Knowledge of proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy.
• Self-motivated to learn with electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Able to understand and abide by stringent safety rules.
• Moderate to heavy lifting may be required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating, or nuclear field.
