Description

Job Title: TGCM Technician 5

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $27.50 - 30/hr, W 2

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Currently, candidates should be open to all shifts. Once the client's customer builds out the shifts, they will have a schedule to assign shift times.

The shifts for the 30/hr W 2 Role are:

Front Half: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday.
Back Half: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.
Shift Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Additionally, new hires will follow a standard weekday training schedule (Monday through Friday, potentially with some Saturday work) before transitioning to these official shifts.
Please ensure candidates are acceptable to these shifts


The shifts for the 27.50/hr W 2 Role are:
Back Half: Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Shift Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Additionally, new hires will follow a standard weekday training schedule (Monday through Friday, potentially with some Saturday work) before transitioning to these official shifts.

 

Summary:

  • Maintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment.
  • Perform minor inspections and preventive maintenance on gas/chemical equipment.
  • Participate in safety and training programs.
  • Comply with all applicable HS&E Standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily rounds, including recording readings, completing safety inspections, and monitoring online gas and chemical systems.
  • Verify toxic gas monitoring operations and complete chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs.
  • Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site.
  • Perform bulk gas and chemical trailer transfers.
  • Make initial evaluations and obtain proper assistance when confronted with problem situations.
  • Active member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Satisfactorily complete TGCM Tech 5 local OJT and qualification requirements within 12 months.
  • Support training of TGCM contractors as needed.
  • Perform minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures.
  • Accountable for the safety of all persons and the general public surrounding facilities.
  • Ensure proper transfer of materials to the dock hazardous waste storage area.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling spills/emergencies and preparation for waste/containers for shipment.
  • Support waste minimization programs/activities and maintain understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment.
  • Self-motivated to learn.
  • Electro-mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to understand and abide by stringent safety and quality rules.
  • Display aptitude for working in emergency/high stress situations and performing problem-solving actions properly and safely.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand/walk up to 11 hours per day.
  • Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55-gallon drums).
  • Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks.
  • Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.
