Position Summary
The Testing Center Assistant is a permanent part-time position. The Testing
Center Assistant reports directly to the Associate Director of Student Services and Title IX/ADA
Liaison.
Reports to: Associate Director of Student Services and Title IX/ADA Liaison
Education Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree, with related experience preferred but not required.
Duties
- Reception/Hospitality: Create a welcoming, organized space, assisting staff and
students, with functional equipment and supplies.
- Schedule Test Appointments: Manage the testing center's calendar for efficient booking
for ADA and make-up tests.
- Coordinate with Faculty: Work with faculty to obtain test materials to fulfill ADA
accommodations and make-up tests.
- Supervise Test Takers: Oversee students during tests to ensure compliance.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with promotional materials and assigned tasks as needed.
Desired Qualities
- Scheduling Calendar: Proficient in Element and/or Google Calendar for tracking
appointments.
- Canva: Skilled in creating graphics and signage.
- Google Office Suite: Experienced with Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms.
- CLEP Knowledge: Become familiar with CLEP testing processes.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Must have a friendly, welcoming personality, the ability to get along well with students,
faculty and co-workers, and a desire to provide excellent customer service.
