Location: Niagara Falls, NY 14303
Duration: 12+ months 
Shift: 1st 
Pay Range: $20-$24/h on W2

Job Description:
As the Test Technician you will start by preparing documentation and performing the setup fixture that is necessary for the testing of accelerometers.
You will be responsible for initiating and maintaining specific test operations from start to completion.
This will include all rate table and vibration related testing.
After internal testing, you will move on to final testing of the product by performing similar tests on the customer’s equipment as the final validation before delivery.

•Prepare accurate documentation related to test preparation as well as maintaining detailed daily process logs for all tests being performed and all related faults or anomalies.
•Collaborate with the electrical engineer and the production manager regarding testing strategies, troubleshooting, and planning of all test related matters.
•Finalizing the product - i.E. Disassemble from test fixture, cleaning, etc.
•Prepare the product for final inspection - gather and validate paperwork and database routing before delivery to the customer.
•Perform other production related tasks during periods of testing that doesn’t require observation.

Basic Qualifications:
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Previous test experience or equivalent education

Desired Skills:
•IPC J-STD-001 certification
•Technical degree in electronics related curriculum
•Work experience in production, test, or related fields
•Electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting
•Computer skills: MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Access
•Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge and ESD mitigation principles
•Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using a standard digital multimeter (DMM)
•Team player with demonstrated initiative and accountability
•Effective interpersonal skills and communication skills
