MAJORRESPONSIBILITES:

·looking for a Lab Technician to support SSD hardware bring-up,firmware validation readiness, and lab operations within the US FPT lab team.In this role, you will help enable successful SSD validation programs byensuring test systems are properly configured, hardware is available andtracked, issues are resolved quickly, and lab activities stay aligned withproject schedules.

·This is a hands-on technical role in a fast-paced engineering labenvironment. You will work closely with firmware, validation, platform,facilities, IT/infrastructure, and operations teams to support new hardwarebring-up, test execution, system debug, inventory management, and continuousimprovement of lab processes.

·This role requires onsite lab support and direct interaction with SSDhardware, test systems, lab inventory, and shipping/receiving activities.Remote or hybrid work is not supported for this role due to the nature of laboperations and hardware readiness requirements.

QUALIFICATIONSAND EXPERIENCE

·Hands-on experience building, configuring, troubleshooting, andmaintaining PC/server-based hardware systems.

·Experience with NVMe/PCIe SSD hardware, storage platforms, orsystem-level test environments.

·Ability to execute test plans, follow written procedures, andsummarize results accurately.

·Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, firmware,connectivity, and system setup issues.

·Familiarity with Unix/Linux command-line environments.

·Basic scripting experience in Shell or Python is preferred.

·Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, reporting,and data organization.

·Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·Ability to work independently using technical documentation anddefined procedures.

·Comfortable performing hands-on, repetitive, detail-oriented labactivities with consistency and quality.

·Prior experience in an SSD, storage, firmware validation, hardwarevalidation, or engineering lab environment is strongly preferred.

·Experience with automation, diagnostic tools, log collection, oranalyzer tools is a plus.

·The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical problems, workingdirectly with hardware, documenting results clearly, and contributing to areliable and scalable lab environment.

·Support SSD hardware bring-up, configuration, validation readiness,and ongoing maintenance for project-specific platforms.

·Build, configure, modify, and maintain NVMe/PCIe SSD test systems,hosts, debug systems, and supporting lab infrastructure.

·Execute defined test plans, manual procedures, pre-flight checks, andsystem validation steps with strong attention to detail.

·Troubleshoot hardware, software, firmware, connectivity, power, andsystem-level setup issues to restore lab readiness.

·Capture and summarize diagnostic data, logs, failure observations, anddebug details to support engineering analysis.

·Manage lab inventory, asset tracking, hardware reuse,check-in/check-out processes, and project-specific hardware availability.

·Coordinate shipping, receiving, internal movement, and tracking of SSDand non-SSD hardware components.

Preferred :

·Collaborate with engineering, validation, facilities, IT, andoperations teams to support lab activities and project schedules.

·Support lab planning activities related to rack allocation, space,power, equipment readiness, and future scalability.

·Communicate task status, risks, blockers, and dependencies clearly andproactively.

·Participate in team meetings and cross-functional discussions toprovide updates on assigned activities.

·Identify and implement efficiency improvements through automation,scripting, documentation, and repeatable lab processes.

·Support lab repair workflows, issue tracking, and process improvementsfor recurring lab activities.
