Test Technician

Build it. Test it. Help prove how it performs.

The Test Technician is responsible for building firestop test assemblies to include installation of penetrations and firestop products. This position performs tests as outlined in a test plan. Tests are performed on new and existing Hilti and competitor's products

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in lab or mechanical testing.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety precautions required.
• Basic math skills (algebra, trigonometry) required.
• Basic use of PC software (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) preferred.
• Basic knowledge of UL/ASTM Firestop testing standard requirements, laboratory test equipment, and calibration requirements.
• Ability to interpret drawings and sketches required.
• Basic carpentry and metal working skills required.
• Forklift license required.
