Primary Talent Partners has a 6 month contract opening for a Test Technician I to join a multinational medical device company for an onsite position operating out of North Haven, CT. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.

Primary Talent Partners has a 6 month contract opening for a Test Technician I to join a multinational medical device company for an onsite position operating out of North Haven, CT. 

Pay: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr based on experience and academia
Contract: 6 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship
Working Hours: 3rd Shift 11p-730a - Shift starts on Sunday night and ends Friday morning 
Training Hours: 1st shift preferred | 2nd shift an option 1st - 7a-330p, 2nd - 3p-1130p

Responsibilities:

• Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
• Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
• Adjusts and calibrate systems as needed.
• Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
• Corrects malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directed.
• Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Preferred college education with engineering discipline, but not required; high school diploma required. 
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Medical Device experience preferred though not required
