Job Summary

We"re seeking a Test Technician to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturing. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for performing electrical and RF testing on cutting-edge products, subassemblies, and circuit boards while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, subassemblies, and printed circuit boards (PCBs) using manual and automated test equipment.
  • Execute test procedures based on work instructions, test plans, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Utilize measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to verify product quality and performance.
  • Document test results accurately, maintain test records, update databases, and generate reports.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and retesting of electronic assemblies to identify and resolve issues.
  • Read and interpret schematics, test plans, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve testing processes, throughput, and product quality.
  • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electronics testing, electrical assembly, or microelectronics manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test equipment.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and basic circuit analysis.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Understanding of ESD procedures and best practices.
  • Desire to learn and grow within a technical manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chelmsford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
