Job Overview
Job Title: Technical/Professional - Test Technician
Level: Level 2: BS+3-5 YRS or MS+0-3 YRS
Location: Chelmsford, MA
End Date: 2/26/2027
Work Schedule: 4/10A - 1st Shift (Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with possibility of overtime)
Security Clearance: Interim Secret (Required to start; supplier must initiate process at offer stage)
Position Summary
Seeking a Test Technician for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and an interest in working with electronics, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role, youll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.
Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.
Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
Document accurate data records and results in test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures.
Perform basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies.
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.
Navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Level 2 (BS+3-5 years or MS+0-3 years).
Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred. Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
General Skills: Strong work ethics, reputation for punctuality and reliability, and a desire to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment.
