Test Lab Technician

FieldBridge Energy seeks a Mobile, AL-based Test Lab Technician to work for the world’s largest oilfield service company. Weekly payment + Benefits,

$25-$27/hour | Day and night shifts, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week base | Weekly pay every Friday | Overtime opportunities available | At $26/hr and 50 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,430 gross.

Position Overview
We are hiring a Test Lab Technician for a specialized industrial lab in Mobile that tests subsea umbilicals. You will prepare test articles, set up and run mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical tests, and record the results. If you like hands-on technical work with real responsibility, this role is a strong fit.

As a Test Lab Technician, you will prepare, terminate, and instrument full-scale subsea umbilicals. Then you will run the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical tests that prove they are ready for offshore service. Umbilicals carry power, control signals, and fluids to equipment on the seafloor, so a failure is costly and hard to fix once installed. Your careful testing and accurate records give engineers and customers confidence before anything ships. You will work with fixtures, pressure systems, and data acquisition equipment, side by side with Engineering and Quality. Day and night shifts are available, and weekly pay comes with a stable path in subsea manufacturing.

You will work hands-on with full-scale subsea umbilicals made of hydraulic, electrical, and fiber-optic lines, running load and pressure tests that prove them ready for offshore energy projects.

  • Record accurate test data and report abnormal results or deviations to Engineering, Quality, or Production leadership
  • Perform pre-use equipment checks and hazard assessments, and keep the test area and equipment safe and ready

Required Qualifications
