Job Title: Test Lead
Location: Onsite: Naperville, IL
Duration: 06 Months with possible extension
Pay rate: $35-$40/hr on W2/C2C

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with strong expertise in banking and financial technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in QA, functional testing, test management, and automation, along with hands-on experience working in banking or financial services environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead testing activities for banking and financial technology projects.
- Define testing goals, objectives, and measurement plans aligned with business requirements.
- Develop and implement testing strategies, methodologies, and quality processes.
- Oversee functional, system, integration, regression, and peripheral testing activities.
- Analyze and troubleshoot software applications and identify defects or process improvements.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret testing and quality reports.
- Monitor testing metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, testing standards, and QA best practices.
- Collaborate with development, business, and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support both Waterfall and Agile development and testing methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall experience in software testing/QA.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Lead on banking projects.
- Must have experience working in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Strong knowledge of IT QA and functional testing.
- Strong understanding of:
- SDLC concepts and processes
- Testing concepts and methodologies
- Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Testing metrics and industry standards
- Automated testing frameworks
- Peripheral testing experience is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Branch applications is a plus.
- Strong experience in system analysis, assessment, programming, and software application troubleshooting.
- Proven experience compiling and interpreting testing and quality reports.
