    Responsibilitiesarrow_right

    • Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain component and product performance tests to support customer requirements and product qualification activities.
    • Install seals, shafts, bore plates, test heads, and other test hardware to ensure accurate and repeatable testing conditions.
    • Configure and adjust test parameters including oil levels, shaft speeds, temperatures, pressures, and machine offsets.
    • Collect, record, and analyze test data through data acquisition (DAQ) systems, oil sampling, and laboratory documentation processes.
    • Perform precise measurements of seals, components, and test hardware using a variety of measuring instruments.
    • Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain test systems to ensure reliable and accurate results.
    • Support overall lab operations by troubleshooting equipment, installing supporting systems such as pumps and fans, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

    Qualificationsarrow_right

    • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how components and equipment function in a testing or manufacturing environment.
    • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, prints, schematics, or technical documentation.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures and ensure accurate test setups and data collection.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple active tests and competing priorities.
    • Proficiency using precision measuring tools and equipment to inspect and verify dimensions.
    • Basic understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing concepts and their application to manufactured parts.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and strong communication skills for documenting results and collaborating with engineering teams.
