Introduction

Join our dynamic team where you will be responsible for operating and managing test lab equipment, contributing to vital engineering and testing processes. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience performing PCB testing and running tests using complex semi-automated test equipment.
  • Ability to input, update, and maintain records related to the movement of units and maintenance of fixtures.
  • Would like to see candidates with Mechanics, Chemistry or Material Science background instead.
  • Experience with XRAY or Microscope.
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining consistently high-quality output.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and technical environment.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Material Science or an Engineering field preferred.
  • Good attitude and willingness to contribute to process improvement.
  • Ability to record results of testing according to procedures.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Help engineering teams set up and qualify test stations by following direction and performing initial testing for qualification.
  • Assist the planning team in organizing lab spaces and keeping equipment up to date.
  • Perform SMT process support, including printing, PnP/reflow support, and coordinating programming work with vendors.
  • Conduct tests such as drop test, thermal cycling, shear/pull strength, including machine setup.
  • Handle cross-sectioning tasks such as potting, dicing, grinding, and polishing.
  • Perform measurement and analysis using X-ray and microscopes.
  • Support lab maintenance by coordinating with vendors.
