Introduction
The team is seeking dedicated individuals to operate test line equipment for the semi-automated testing of consumer electronics. This role is essential to maintaining high-quality standards and supporting the engineering and planning teams in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Quick learner with the ability to follow complex instructions and procedures.
- Familiarity with computers and data entry, with proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Filemaker experience is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and technical environment.
- Two-year tech degree or higher.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality output.
- Good attitude and willingness to contribute to process improvement.
- Ability to record results of testing according to procedures.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with setting up and qualifying test stations.
- Experience in organizing lab spaces and maintaining equipment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Run tests using complex semi-automated test equipment, ensuring focus and consistency during repetitions.
- Input, update, and maintain records related to the movement of units and maintenance of fixtures.
- Assist engineering teams in setting up and qualifying test stations by following directions and performing initial testing for qualification.
- Assist the planning team in organizing lab spaces and keeping equipment up to date.
- Document procedures as required.
