    Description

    HumCap's client, an electronics design and manufacturing business, is searching for a Test Supervisor to join their team. This individual is responsible for all aspects of the particular assigned test lab including equipment, staff, supplies, software, and documentation.

    Main Responsibilities
    • Delegates and assigns work to Test team
    • Maintains schedule of product release dates and information pertinent to test procedure i.e.; current software / test modules / test equipment for each specific job assignment
    • Provides oversight and direction to employees in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
    • Coaches and mentors team members to help them meet the essential functions of their role and the goals set by the Test Department
    • Maintains and develops team’s staffing needs in coordination with HR
    • Communicates specific job issues with concerned parties as needed such as Production, QC, and customers.
    • Provides updates to relevant teams and communicate any delays.
    • Schedules lab or equipment use time for staff.
    • Order lab supplies or prepare ordering lists.
    • Ensures safety and integrity of information stored in the Test Lab.
    • Maintains a clean and organized Test Lab.
    Requirements
    • Familiarity with IPC standards is preferred.
    • Associate’s or higher degree year in a related subject.
    • 5+ years in manufacturing and/or production of printed circuit boards with previous supervisory experience.
    • This job operates mainly in a test lab.
    • May need to be in a stationary position up to 85% of the time.
    • Constantly operates a computer, tools, and equipment related to the testing of Printed Circuit Boards.
    • Frequently needs to communicate information with other members of the Test team and organization.
    • Must be able to move PCBs and other items weighing up to 20lbs.
