Test Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in product test engineering, verification and validation, or reliability engineering
• Proficiency with data acquisition software such as Dewesoft, LabVIEW, or similar tools
• Experience developing test strategies, plans, and procedures from engineering requirements and specifications
• Experience designing and building test fixtures, laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and automated test systems
• Strong experience with electromechanical product testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Data acquisition systems, instrumentation, technical reporting, and engineering data analysis
• Knowledge of HVACR products, refrigeration systems, and environmental testing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop verification and validation strategies, test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria based on product requirements and technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain laboratory test fixtures, instrumentation, automated test systems, and specialized setups.
• Execute functional, performance, reliability, environmental, and field testing throughout all phases of product development.
• Troubleshoot product failures, test equipment, and testing setups to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze test data, prepare technical reports, and provide recommendations to ensure product quality, performance, and reliability.
